Whoa...already a week since my last post?? Well, it has been pretty uneventful..since workload is starting to pile up. And things are starting to get complicated. And also, my brain just ran dry for some reason. Maybe its because of the dry weather. Hmmm...
Anyway, Most of you people should know delirious right? As in the people from church and all. Hehe. Well turned out that when arrived to Leicester they were gonna have a concert nearby! So after some 'tug-o-war' debate in my head I went with two guys who are not christian. I was quite surprised really as to why they wanted to go. Usually people with other faiths that I know of will avoid events like these. Not that I shunned them for coming. I was just simply, Surprised. Besides, I didn't know anyone else who was going. Sad. boo boo hoo..
This event though was held by a christian organization I think called Christian Praise. I managed to somehow bump into the head of the event and to put things simple they're something like Planet Shakers, Evangelising through music and events. Personally, I believe they did a splendid job. The environment was WAY friendly and welcoming, the ushers and all.Though it was a service, they carried it out with a purpose and with joy.
To cbc, I believe we should learn from them in the case of lets say hosting the conference ehh??? Its coming soon. December when?? I'll promote it here!!! WOOOHHOOO!!!!
OH ya...eehehe...to continue, the entire event was amazing, the singers especially. Apart from delirious, there was this lady named kirstina? and her voice was...fantastic! If I were to get a girlfriend she better be able to sing...EHEHEHE....My friends seemed to love it too, both of them are into music. One of them was in an orchestra!! Oh, being the P.A person that I am, I have to comment that the crew as well did very well, playing around with effects and all. Don't think that is easy. (who says P.A team is not important? or background? its just subtle XD)
About the messages in this event, it was pretty light, being an evangelical one, but they were having an altar call for people who wanted accept Jesus and also for healing of all kinds. I think they prayed discretely as in they didn't publicly announce whose being prayed for so I don't know how many people went but I do believe seeds have been planted and will be able to grow in time.
The story ain't over just yet!!! Cause after the event, one of my friends wanted to have an autograph from the band!!! I wouldn't mind but the fact that I had to speak for him even though he knew english was quite annoying. I kind of blew at him, but apologized after that. We didn't manage to get delirious members signature cause they've been travelling way alot, from moscow the day before and to the city of Bath the next day. But we did manage to get the lady singers: Kirstina's signature.
Just wondered. CBC is having a big event really soon and I am going to miss it!!! Nevertheless, I hope you guys will do it for God and allow him to use you guys instead of relying your own strength. And I think CBC, you have the gifts and skill, maybe we lack the confidence and the morale to step up. Go for it guys!!I'm waiting to hear from you all about the conference's great success!!! For my other friends, I think you know some of my church mates so why don't you guys go and expand your circle of friends. ehehe....advertising sial.
I do hope everyone is doing well. And once again I apologize. Though Blogging is not very personal, it is one of my only ways of keeping in touch with you guys in Malaysia. My e-mail is too messed up and sadly I do not have time to mail all of you one by one. Do hope you all understand. Keep in touch!!!
