The Strength of Words

Hey all,

Haven't been blogging for ages...If there are people who actually read my blog..well I humbly apologize..

Exams were...well...easy and hard...hard because of all that last minute studying..ahaha....I am a very big procrastinator...Now just praying that my results will reflect my confidence..and statistically speaking...It might not come up too satisfactory.

Anyway, I've been looking through some blogs out of boredom and I hope I won't offend anyone here somehow. Quite often, including myself, we are at this point where we are weighing the good and bad stuff that is in our life. We would most obviously want to focus on the good part BUT then again...

See the 'but'?? Its that word that connects sentences(Can't remember what its called XD) and from time to time it...well...it just isn't very good. Take for example, you are about to apologize for a mistake. 'sorry i made a mess of things, but...'

I don't know what some of you might see from this, but it tells me that you're about to come up with an excuse to push the blame to something else. Not saying I am Holier than thou, because I am guilty of this myself. Just thought i bring the strength of this word to light.

Just to conclude, Words are powerful and we fail to realise its importance (even trivial words like 'but'). Words can heal and words can destroy. And as we all should know, destroying is a lot easier than healing even when we don't mean it. This is not just the things we can do or say to a person, your own words can also heal or devastate yourself.

Man I sound preachy...but well...Life is life...and Life is Good.
